Internal Reporting System of NAM system, a.s.

In accordance with Act No. 171/2023 Coll. on the Protection of Whistleblowers (hereinafter referred to as the “Act”), NAM system, a.s. has established an internal reporting system for reporting illegal conduct within the meaning of the Act. A whistleblower within the meaning of the Act is a natural person who, in connection with their work or other similar activity, becomes aware of illegal conduct that violates a legal regulation falling within one of the areas defined in Section 2(1) of the Act. The specific violations of law that must be reported are listed in the Act. The company excludes the acceptance of reports that:

  • do not contain data from which the identity of the whistleblower can be deduced, as per Section 4(3) of the Act,
  • were made by someone other than a person performing work or a similar activity for NAM system, a.s. according to Section 2(3)(a), (b), (h), or (i) of the Act. These persons may use the external reporting system of the Ministry of Justice on the website oznamovatel.justice.cz. The whistleblower should have sufficient grounds, based on the circumstances and information available at the time of the report, to believe that the facts they are reporting or disclosing are authentic and truthful. It is not allowed to report knowingly false information. Such conduct may be subject to sanctions.

The whistleblower should be able to identify the area to which the illegal conduct pertains and consider what verifiable information about the reported illegal conduct they can provide. The scope and quality of the information provided can positively influence the investigation of the report. When obtaining evidence to support the reported facts, the whistleblower should not engage in conduct that could constitute a criminal offense.

If the whistleblower believes that their report will not be investigated, their identity will not be protected, or they risk retaliatory measures by the employer, they also have the option to submit their report directly through the external reporting system established by the Ministry of Justice. The external reporting system and further information can be found on the website oznamovatel.justice.cz.

The whistleblower further acknowledges that NAM system, a.s. will collect, store, and process the personal data of the whistleblower provided in their report. The legal basis for processing personal data is compliance with a legal obligation.
